We are a proud group of professional men of color, including judges, lawyers, professors, architects, and more, who are steadfast in our commitment to our community.  Our Foundation draws inspiration and our name from Dr. Carter G. Woodson, who said  “Real education means to inspire people to live more abundantly, to learn to begin with life as they find it and make it better,”  We invite you to learn more about The Carter G. Woodson Foundation programming, initiatives, and history.

Again, on behalf of the CGW Foundation, welcome to our online home, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about us
